This is the Lego engineering + Lego robotics carnival. Here is a friendly challenge for all Lego aficionados. Assisted by a lead, these LEGO prodigies will investigate and explore their own ingenuity. They will work with versatile tools like ‘LEGOŽ engineering construction sets’, motor blocks and power packages, ‘LEGOŽ Education WeDo™ Robotics Engineering kits’ and laptop PCs. The models which thus evolve through synergy of engineering skills and innovative effort will be checked and tried for mechanical functioning, and then demonstrated to other children in class. After successful testing, these models will then be linked to the PCs, through USP interface, to run them through short computer programs. These short graphical programs to enable a model to perform various actions will be developed by teams of children on computers by simply choosing and snapping together the relevant graphical programming blocks available on PCs.
